FOSTER CARE
We are huge advocates of fostering children. In order to make the process easier, our church provides care for families fostering children. Each family is surrounded by a support group that makes meals periodically, offers childcare and provides encouragement. GOOD NEWS CLUB
This is a ministry in public elementary schools were kids are introduced to the Good News. Once a week, we provide snacks, play games, have a time of worship and teach bible stories. We would love for you to become a volunteer. Email Heather Leo to get involved!

A two-day training of life-changing paradigms where you will learn how to share your faith and build fruitful relationships with Muslims. GENERATION SALAAM
This is our weekly summer outreach program for refugees families living in Clarkston. We go to several apartment complexes to play with the kids, build relationships with the parents and share the love of Christ with the refugee families there. Contact sheeba@gfc.tv for more info.
PEACE OF THREAD
Peace of Thread is a nonprofit organization that empowers women who have come to United States seeking refuge from war, persecution and poverty to make a new life for themselves and their families. The women of Peace of Thread hand-make high quality and one of a kind accessories using top of the line refurbished fabric. Volunteers can work in many areas such as designer, cutter, sales representative, driver and more. This is a great way to build relationships with refugee women!
