1. Partiality is against God’s stated order (2:1-7)

Why are we partial?
b. Partiality tears down others dignity (2:2-5)
How do people know God’s love?

Are there people you can’t win with? Why?
All people have value because they are made in the image of God.
c. Partiality tears down our dignity (2:5-7)
to impress people instead of loving people will always result in a loss of dignity
oppress-Acts 10:38
d. You were made in dignity- no cap (James 1:18, Psalm 139:13-14, Ephesians 2:10)
James 1: 18 He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Are there people in your life that can’t win with you?
2. Faith and Works modified by Mercy triumphs over judgment (2:13-17)
Mercy will win, because it is stronger (2:13)
Works show faith, they do not produce it (2:14-17)
Faith alone does not mean faith that is alone.
Your faith will grow, your salvation is a done deal.
